De honger naar kennis is nooit stil komen te staan. 

Wat op 18 jarige leeftijd begon als sportmasseuse bij een amateur wielerteam is uitgegroeid tot een lifelong passie en zeer brede professionalisering in diverse lichaamswerk en lifestyle coaching technieken. 

Pia is afgestudeerd massagetherapeute, shiatsu therapeute, en natuurgeneeskundig therapeut en orthomoleculair therapeut. Daarnaast is zij dans, aerobic en special gym docent. 

Het verbinden van de westerse anatomie en fysiologie met de kracht en wijsheid van Oosterse technieken heeft haar altijd geboeid en de zoektocht naar die verbinding heeft de Baransu Shiatsu techniek tot stand gebracht, jarenlange ervaring gebundeld in een praktische holistische methode om de mens als geheel te behandelen, balans te hervinden en klachten buiten de deur te houden. 

Naast de lichaamsgerichte therapieën is zij gespecialiseerd in voeding als therapie. Het door haar ontwikkelde protocol voor voeding als therapie bij chronische ziekten is de basis voor de opleiding Voeding als therapie waar therapeuten en artsen in zowel de complementaire zorg als de reguliere zorg graag aanschuiven.
